City bestows special award on outgoing TRU President

KAMLOOPS — The City of Kamloops has bestowed a special community award on TRU outgoing President Alan Shaver. 

Mayor Ken Christian presented the award Friday to Dr. Shaver at a farewell gathering.

The Mayor said Dr. Shaver has led TRU through an exciting era of growth, both locally and internationally.

He says the President has worked hard to develop “meaningful partnerships”, including  with the City of Kamloops.
