Blazers gang up on Prince George in pre-season opener

KAMLOOPS — The Kamloops Blazers had five different goal scorers in a 5-0 shutout win over the Prince George Cougars in their first WHL preseason game on Friday night at home.
The Blazers got a goal and an assist from Brodi Stuart, Martin Lang and 15-year-old Kamloops native Logan Stankoven. Orrin Centazzo and Carson Denomie also added goals in the win as Montana Onyebuchi collected two assists.
Goaltenders Dylan Ferguson and Rayce Ramsay split the shutout with Ferguson making 13 saves and Ramsay stopping 11 shots.
The Blazers will resume the WHL preseason with a home game against the Victoria Royals on Saturday, September 1st at 7:00pm at the Sandman Centre.
