Accidents create traffic disruptions prior to long weekend

KAMLOOPS — We’re not even officially into the holiday weekend yet, and accidents are causing concern.

Two accidents yesterday on the Coquihalla caused traffic disruption.

One of the accidents took place near Larsson Hill which closed the northbound lanes for some time.

No details have been released.

Another accident yesterday afternoon took place south of Walloper Lake.

Southbound traffic was reduced to one lane while crews cleared the wreckage.  No details from police on that one either. 

And Rescue Crews from Kamloops and Chase are currently attending an accident west of Chase, believed to involve two semi trailers, at least one of them believed to have rolled. No details on the situation yet.
