Fans are considering Kelly Clarkson’s U.S. Open performance as her audition for the Super Bowl halftime show.

After the singer delivered a powerful performance at the tennis event’s opening ceremony in Flushing, New York, Monday night, people began rallying on social media for her to be the next halftime performer.

“I feel like @kelly_clarkson just submitted her audition for the Super Bowl #USOpen2018,” one fan wrote on Twitter.

Another wrote, “RT to sign the official petition to have Kelly Clarkson perform at the 2019 Super Bowl Halftime Show!”

Another tweeted, “Whoever is in charge of the super bowl halftime show may I introduce to you @kelly_clarkson. Way to go Kelly! #USOpen2018 #KellyClarkson” During her 10-minute set at Arthur Ashe Stadium, Kelly belted six of her biggest hits including “Since You Been Gone,” “Miss Independent” and “Stronger (What Doesn’t Kill You).”

Super Bowl LIII (53) will take place in Atlanta in February 2019.
