EMMA WATSON REPLACES EMMA STONE IN LITTLE WOMEN: Greta Gerwig‘s Little Women is swapping Emmas. Emma Stone is being replaced by Emma Watson (the switcheroo reportedly happened due to scheduling complications). Stone was set to play Meg, TBD if Watson will take on the role. Saoirse Ronan, Florence Pugh, Laura Dern and Timothee Chalamet are negotiating their roles; Meryl Streep has been cast as Aunt March.
WOMAN FILES SUIT AGAINST MARIO BATALI: A woman has filed a sexual assault lawsuit against Mario Batali in Massachusetts court. Natali Tene made her allegations against Batali earlier this year, and other women also shared their stories of Batali groping them. This is the first suit against Batali, though multiple women have accused him of harassment and abuse. In May, the NYPD opened an investigation against him.
GWYNETH PALTROW PREPS FOR WEDDING AT CLINIC: Gwyneth Paltrow was spotted at Long Island’s New York Center for Innovative Medicine, a center known for its holistic treatment of Lyme disease, Page Six reports. The founder, Dr. Thomas Szulc, has also been featured on her website Goop for his “energy balancing” procedures. She is reportedly making the visit before her wedding to producer Brad Falchuk on Labor Day, and according to the gossip site, he joined Paltrow at the clinic.
TIM CONWAY SUFFERING FROM DEMENTIA AT 84: The 84-year-old Carol Burnett Show‘s Tim Conway is suffering from dementia, according to court documents obtained by People and The Blast. His daughter Kelly, 56, has filed documents claiming Conway’s wife Charlene is “planning to move him out of the excellent skilled nursing facility he is currently at” and place him in one that won’t give him access to “registered nurses at all times and his 24-hour caregiver and speech therapist (to help with swallowing).” The documents also state that the disease has progressed so far, he is almost “entirely unresponsive.” Conway has seven children between two women, Mary Anne Dalton and Charlene.
