Ascend unveils plans for Kamloops boutique hotel

KAMLOOPS — The Ascend Hotel Collection says its first new build in Canada will happen in Kamloops.
The new boutique hotel, named ‘The Hue,’ is planned for 1529 Hugh Allan Drive, just west of the Super 8 motel.
It will consist of 36 rooms spread over six storeys, and is expected to open in 2020.
According to a news release, there are 13 Ascend properties in Canada, with six more “in the pipeline.”
