Spotify and Guinness World Records has announced the launch of the ultimate record-breaking playlist The Year in Pop. To celebrate the musicians featured in the upcoming Guinness World Records 2019 book, the playlist is made up of the artists’ record-breaking tracks for all to listen.
“With records from ‘Most streamed track worldwide’ to ‘Most followers on Instagram,’ these musicians are recognized for a variety of record-breaking achievements, including tours, online streaming, social media and even crowdfunding,” Guinness said on its website.
The playlist features Justin Bieber, BTS, Taylor Swift, Katy Perry and more.

- Most streamed track worldwide: (4.6bn) – “Despacito” (remix) by Luis Fonsi, Daddy Yankee and Justin Bieber
