POLICE TO INVESTIGATE ASIA ARGENTO: The L.A. County Sheriff’s Department has changed course and will investigate claims that Asia Argento sexually assaulted Jimmy Bennett in 2013, when he was 17 and she was 37, TMZ reports. The website also alleges that it saw the post-sex photo she paid Bennett $380K for when he accused her of assaulting him. (They don’t publish it, but say they’re both reclining, faintly smiling and at least partially nude in bed). Argento was reportedly unable to get Bennett to sign an NDA because confidentiality agreements are not enforceable when they involve allegations of child sex acts. Harvey Weinstein‘s attorney Ben Brafman has lashed out at Argento, calling her a hypocrite for cutting a secret deal with an accuser when she had been such a vocal leader in the #MeToo movement. Argento was one of the first to come forward accusing Weinstein of misconduct. (TMZ)

PLAYMATE LINKED TO BEN AFFLECK TALKS DATING: Playboy model Shauna Sexton, who has been linked to 46-year-old Ben Affleck, spoke out about what she looked for in a man in a revealing photo shoot for Playboy. “I want someone who’s able to compromise but doesn’t sell himself short,” she told the magazine. “I appreciate people who are the truest forms of themselves and brutally honest about who they are.” The 22-year-old said that her real passion is working with animals as a veterinary technician. She added that she eats like an “NFL linebacker” and enjoys “whiskey all day.” (People)

KIM KARDASHIAN WEST DINES SEPARATELY FROM NANNY, NORTH: Kim Kardashian West got diners’ attention at luxe Miami restaurant Carpaccio when she dined at a different table than her nanny and daughter North, 5, Insiders tell Page Six that Kardashian was dining solo because she was being followed by a videographer and didn’t want North in the shot (though she frequently appears on KUWTK). JON STEWART HELPS LOST SUBWAY GOATS: Daily Show alum Jon Stewart swooped in to help two bewildered goats who found their way onto the tracks on the N line in Brooklyn. Their big, baaaad day began Monday morning when the MTA alerted the masses via Twitter to their presence near the Eighth Ave. stop in Bay Ridge; it ended with Stewart arranging to have them transported to the Farm Sanctuary shelter in Upstate New York. CLAIRE DANES ROCKS BABY BUMP: The pregnant Homeland star Claire Danes was photographed sporting a major baby bump and looking like she was just trying to relax and get some fresh air in NYC. Danes wore a flowing orange dress and Birkenstocks, then popped into a corner store for a popsicle. She first announced her pregnancy in April, saying she was “deep into” her second trimester.
