Suspect in Kamloops Denny’s standoff facing charges

KAMLOOPS — The man accused of barricading himself inside the Denny’s in downtown Kamloops last week is facing a raft of charges.
The standoff started at around 4 a.m. on Aug. 2 and lasted over 10 hours. It started when the man allegedly made a threat after receiving his bill.
