Over three days in August, join us in Riverside Park to enjoy live entertainment, vendors, refreshments and of course, award-winning ribs from Champion Ribbers. All activities are free to enjoy, including the Family Fun Zone, which features an assortment of bouncy castles, live family entertainment, face painting, kids games and more!

Competition

Our six champion ribber teams will be competing for trophies and bragging rights for best ribs, best sauce and the most coveted award: People’s Choice!

A panel of judges will determine the winners for best ribs and best sauce during a live judging competition at 3pm on Saturday afternoon.

Voting for People’s Choice will take place throughout Friday and until 3pm on Saturday. Don’t forget to cast a ballot for your favourite Ribber at the Volunteer Tent next to Heritage House.

Main Stage Entertainment

Our entertainers will be on the main stage all weekend long, as well as projected on a large screen in the refreshment area.

For the entire weekend, the east end of Riverside Park is transformed into an oasis of family fun! All activities are free to enjoy, but donations are appreciated and accepted throughout the park! There will be no shortage of things to do, for a complete list of entertainers and activities that will be in the park, please scroll down. Some of these include a ventriloquist, Rivertown Players, 5 inflatables and many many more!
