REAL HOUSEWIVES TO PUT TRADEMARK FASHION ON THE BLOCK: It’s all for a good cause. The Real Housewives of New York City have inked a deal with resale site thredUP on iconic pieces from the closets of Carole Radziwill, Dorinda Medley, Ramona Singer and Luann de Lesseps, among others. “Summer is always a great time for a detox. Cleaning out my closet and selling my clothes with thredUP feels like the perfect way to kick off a cleansing period. Keeping my home in order gives me a sense of calm. An organized home is an organized mind! It’s time for me to let someone else enjoy my clothes while raising money for a good cause,” says Radziwill. Shoppers can expect to see couture items like Diane von Furstenberg and Balenciaga, starting July 24th. Would you want to shop the RHONY‘s closets?

JAMES CAMERON BACKS BID FOR THOUSANDS OF TITANIC ITEMS: James Cameron is helping to back a bid by a group of British museums who seek to acquire a collection of 5,500 artifacts from the sunken Titanic ship. The group aims to raise $20 million to buy the items salvaged by an American company. Cameron, who directed the epic 1997 film Titanic, starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet, noted his concerns about the collection. “That’s why people who feel some protective role have stepped up and kind of linked arms,” Cameron said in a statement. “It’s an incredible piece of history, an object lesson about human hubris. If it gets sold into private hands, it disappears from the public eye. It would be broken up and could never be reassembled.” Items include a section of the ship’s hull and a bronze cherub decoration from the ship’s grand staircase.
