ARIANA GRANDE HEADLINING CONCERT TO CELEBRATE AMAZON’S PRIME DAY: Ariana Grande is headlining a special concert in celebration of Amazon’s upcoming Prime Day. She’ll join previously announced performers Alessia Cara, Julia Michaels, and Kelsea Ballerini for the Amazon Music Unboxing Event set to take place July 11th in Brooklyn, New York. Ariana will be singing some her hits as well as new tunes from her upcoming album, Sweetener. The performance will also be live-streamed on Amazon and Twitch starting at 8 p.m.[ ET]. Prime Day, featuring more than one million deals for Amazon Prime customers, kicks off July 16th and runs through July 17th.

ASHLEE SIMPSON & EVAN ROSS’ DOCU-SERIES GETS PREMIERE DATE: Ashlee Simpson is returning to reality television and she’s bringing her husband Evan Ross along for the ride. The married couple will give fans an intimate look at their lives in the new series Ashlee+Evan, which will premiere on E! on September 9th. The first episode will be an hour-long edition and it will be followed by five half-hour episodes in the subsequent weeks. The docu-drama follows Ashlee and Evan as they juggle their lives as soul mates, parents, musicians and artists – along with their eclectic group of friends and famous family.

KELLY CLARKSON TO LEAD VOICE CAST OF ‘UGLYDOLLS’ MOVIE: Kelly Clarkson is set to lead the voice cast for STX Entertainment’s UglyDolls movie, based around the characters from the plush doll franchise. Kelly will star as Moxy in the story “in which Moxy and her UglyDolls friends confront what it means to be different, struggle with their desire to be loved, and ultimately discover that you don’t have to be perfect to be amazing because who you truly are is what matters most.” She will also record songs for the film, which will be released on May 10, 2019. The movie also stars Pitbull.
