BC Hydro adding charging stations Coquihalla Highway rest area

VANCOUVER — Good news for those road tripping to Vancouver and need to charge their electric vehicles.

BC Hydro has created two new charging stations to the Britton Creek rest area along the Coquihalla Highway.

The new charging stations are two of 28 new stations across the province and are part of the second phase of BC Hydro’s electric vehicle fast charging network.

The new stations are in addition to the 30 that were completed in 2016 and precede the next phase which will connect drivers to northern B.C.
