Crash claims driver’s life in Vernon

VERNON — A tragic start to the week in Vernon.
Police say a single vehicle crash this morning killed the driver and sole occupant of a blue Kia Sorrento.
The SUV went off Mission Road near Allan Brooks Way and hit power pole around 5:45 am.
“An RCMP collision analyst is currently on scene to conduct further investigation into the cause of the collision,” says Cst. Kelly Brett. “Mission Road remains open at this time with single lane alternating traffic.”
