THE CHAINSMOKERS TEAM WITH PEPSI FOR ONE-OFF L.A. SHOW: The Chainsmokers will be paying tribute to the King of Pop and the Princess of Pop at a special one-night-only show at L.A.’s Hollywood Palladium on July 24th. The duo are teaming up with Pepsi for the show, which is part of the brand’s Pepsi Generations Summer Music Campaign. In addition to their own hits, The Chainsmokers will welcome surprise guests and perform what’s described as “re-imagined versions of songs from Pepsi’s biggest music icons.” The duo are looking to mesh their EDM-style with some of the most popular songs from music icons such as Ray Charles, Michael Jackson, Britney Spears and Beyonc during a the show. Alex Pall and Drew Taggart also will perform some of their own greatest hits as The Chainsmokers, including “Roses,” “Closer” and “Don’t Let Me Down.” Tickets are on sale now. The concert will be livestreamed through Pepsi’s Twitter page .
DEMI LOVATO RESUMES ‘TELL ME YOU LOVE ME’ WORLD TOUR: Demi Lovato is feeling better. The 25-year-old singer performed on Thursday night at the SSE Hydro in Glasgow, Scotland. Demi was forced to cancel her show in London earlier in the week due to swollen vocal chords. Demi is currently in the middle of the European leg of her Tell Me You Love Me World Tour. She is set to make more stops in North America, followed by Latin America, later in the year. “When your voice is back and you’re ready to play Glasgow!! ” Demi wrote on her Instagram.
