HARRY STYLES-PRODUCED SITCOM ‘HAPPY TOGETHER’ COMING TO CBS THIS FALL: What if Harry Styles knocked on your door and asked if he could hide out in your house for a while because the paparazzi is after him? That’s basically the plot of a new comedy coming to CBS this fall, executive-produced by Harry himself. The show, Happy Together, is about a young Australian pop star named Cooper who’s pursued by the paps after he splits with his girlfriend. He asks his uncool, 30-something accountant, Jake, if he can move in with him and his wife until the frenzy dies down and hilarity ensues. The show, starring Damon Wayans Jr., Amber Stevens West and Felix Mallard, will air Monday nights on CBS.
CHRISTINA AGUILERA SINGS ‘FALL IN LINE’ WITH JAMES CORDEN IN “CARPOOL KARAOKE” BONUS CLIP: Christina Aguilera dropped “Fall in Line,” her feminist duet with Demi Lovato. Now you can watch her sing it with another duet partner. In a bonus clip from her Carpool Karaoke episode, Christina belts the tune with The Late Late Show host James Corden. MADONNA TEASES NEW SONG: Madonna tweeted and posted on Instagram what seems to be artwork for a song called “Beautiful Game.” She captioned the image, “That I never Learned………….Coming Soon!” She added the hashtags “#music #magic #mirwais.” Mirwais is the producer with whom she collaborated on her albums Music and American Life. Madonna previously had a hit single called “Beautiful Stranger,” from the soundtrack of the 1999 movie Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me. Madonna’s most recent album, Rebel Heart, came out in 2015.
THE CHAINSMOKERS, NICK JONAS AND HALSEY TO PRESENT AT BILLBOARD MUSIC AWARDS: The Chainsmokers, Halsey, Nick Jonas and Julia Michaels are among the presenters for this Sunday night’s Billboard Music Awards. Other stars who’ll be handing out trophies at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas include Simon Cowell; Hailey Baldwin, who’s dating Shawn Mendes; T.I.; Darren Criss; Tyra Banks; Ne-Yo; Grace VanderWaal; Rebel Wilson; Justin Hartley; Chrissy Metz; and Mila Kunis. Kelly Clarkson hosts the show and will also perform, along with ICON award winner Janet Jackson, Dua Lipa, BTS, Shawn Mendes, Khalid, Jennifer Lopez, Ariana Grande, Camila Cabello, Zedd with Maren Morris and Grey, Kesha with Macklemore, Salt-N-Pepa with En Vogue, and Christina Aguilera with Demi Lovato. Ed Sheeran, Bruno Mars and Kendrick Lamar are the leading nominees, with 15 nods each. The Billboard Music Awards air Sunday night on NBC.
