Federal Conservatives gather in Kamloops
KAMLOOPS — Conservative MPs and senators are huddling in Kamloops today.
BC/Yukon Chair Bob Zimmer says the goal is to hear stakeholder concerns and updates.
“As the Official Opposition, it is our role to keep the Liberal government held to account and these meetings are one of the ways we can consult with Canadians directly about the issues that we need to focus on. I want to thank all the stakeholders who are participating in today’s productive meetings.”
Today’s gathering included presentations from the Chamber of Shipping of BC, Forest Products Asociation of Canada, Amazon, Coal Association of Canada, BC Cattlemen’s Association, go2HR, and Canada West Ski Areas Association.
