Funny money making the rounds in Kamloops

KAMLOOPS — Kamloops Crime Stoppers is seeking the public’s help in identifying a man who allegedly used counterfeit money at the 7-11 on 8th Street on the North Shore.

The incident occurred May 7 when a male suspect used a phony $100 bill to buy a carton of cigarettes.

The suspect is described as:

  • Approximately five feet eight inches tall
  • Wearing a yellow and black sport shirt, red hoodie, red pants (sweat suit style) with white and yellow lettering
  • Black with three white stripe running type shoes
  • White ball cap
