Macklemore Shares Daughter’s Name
Early Monday morning, Macklemore shared a special Mother’s Day post that revealed details about the latest addition to his family.
“Colette Koala Haggerty was born on March 16th 2018,” Macklemore wrote on Instagram next to a video of his wife Tricia Davis in the hospital, as well as one showing Tricia, the couple’s two-year-old daughter Sloane Ava Simone, and Macklemore welcoming the new baby.
“To witness the strength, endurance and love it takes to become a mother is the most beautiful thing I have ever experienced,” the rapper, born Ben Haggerty, wrote. “Happy Mother’s Day to the women that give us life.”
Macklemore had previously said that he and Tricia had welcomed a daughter “right before St. Patrick’s Day,” but didn’t give any the details at the time.
