Anne-Marie Pays Homage to Britney and the 90’s: Watch Here

Anne-Marie references some late ’90s/early ’00s songs in her single “2002,” and now the British singer is paying homage to their music videos.
In her “2002” music video, she recreates video elements from Britney Spears’ “…Baby One More Time,” *NSYNC’s “Bye Bye Bye,” JAY-Z’s “99 Problems” and Nelly’s “Ride With Me.”
For example, she wears Britney’s now-iconic naughty school girl outfit, and at one point is strung up like a marionette like the guys of *NSYNC in the “Bye Bye Bye” video.
Anne-Marie is currently on tour with Ed Sheeran, who co-wrote “2002,” in the UK and Europe. Her debut album, Speak Your Mind, is out now.
