KAMLOOPS — April was a wet month in Kamloops.

In fact, Environment Canada Meteorologist Doug Lundquist confirms it was the fourth wettest on record.

“We had nearly three times our average rainfall. The month of April is usually pretty dry, we only get about 14 millimetres, mostly rain. But this year we had 42.”

However, he says it falls well short of the wettest April ever, which was 68 millimetres in April, 1983.
