KMBA preparing for season opening gala
KAMLOOPS — Kamloops Minor Baseball opens the 2018 Season on April 21st at 9:00am at Norbrock Stadium. Over 750 players, coaches, and officials will be in uniform and parade into the Stadium to kick off the season. With over a thousand parents and supporters filling the stands it provides an electric atmosphere to kick off the season for all these young players.
“This is a memorable event for all the players and their families,” said KMBA President Chris Balison.
“To see so many aspiring young ball players on the field and with our numbers increasing yet again over the prior year, is the best way to kick off any baseball season,” Balison adds.
In addition to the normal prize giveaways and the ceremonial first pitch, several dignitaries will be in attendance.
Once the Season is declared open, all 59 teams will play games or practice at home on McArthur Island over the weekend.
