KAMLOOPS — A special art expo showcasing the important medical, social, economic and environmental benefits that come with breastfeeding, has made its way to Kamloops.
The art exhibit focuses on the value of breasfeeding, but also the struggles many women face. Over the past year, the Breastfeeding Expo has been travelling across Interior Health, and will be in Kamloops until Wedensday. Organizers are hoping the show increases conversation around breastfeeding, and reduces any stigma.
The expo is open to the public at Mastermind Studios in its new soundstage on Laval Crescent. Kamloops is the exhibition’s last stop, and it showcases 100 pieces of art from 75 artists in Kamoops and around the Interior.
