VPD looks to Kamloops for new recruits

KAMLOOPS — Representatives of the Vancouver Police Department are coming to Kamloops this week, but instead of looking for suspects, they’re looking for recruits.

The department will hold an informational session at Thompson Rivers University for anyone interested in a law enforcement career in BC’s largest city.

In addition to police officers, VPD says it has vacancies for community safety personnel, jail guards and traffic authority members.

The info session will be held Thursday from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. in TRU’s House of Learning.
