Kamloopsians suffered through a chilly and wet March

KAMLOOPS — If you thought March was colder and wetter than usual in Kamloops, you are correct.
Environment Canada says the average temperature last month was 3.8 degrees Celsius, down from the 5.2 degree average.
It adds there was also 19.6 millimetres of rain, far above the 12.8 millimetre average and good for the 13th wettest March on record since 1897.
As for snowfall there was just one centimetre recorded at the Kamloops Airport — down from the average of 3.5 centimetres.
