Paul Lake golf tournament to raise money for emergency equipment
KAMLOOPS — An annual golf tournament aimed at raising funds for life saving emergency equipment takes place out at Paul Lake this Saturday.
It’s being organized by Ed Lund, the former president of the Paul Lake Fire Protection Association.
“It’s a snow golf tournament where I make up a nine-hole golf course and we have a shotgun start at 12 o’clock and then you play a round of golf. At the 19th hole we have burgers and hot dogs and raise money for our association. This year we’re raising funds for an AED (Automatic External Defibrillator) that we’re going to put in our emergency response trailer.”
