Province plans two prescribed burns near Lytton
LYTTON, B.C. — With the snow still melting, the province is taking the opportunity to get some prescribed burning out of the way.
Two of those projects are planned for the Lytton area, and will be carried out between March 20 and April 15.
The first burn is expected to cover five hectares, just south of Lytton next to the Trans Canada Highway.
The second burn is planned to be much bigger at 36 hectares, and will be ignited about 3.5 kilometres northeast of Lytton, also next to the Trans Canada Highway.
