Kamloops woman organizes shuttle service to help search for Shtuka
KAMLOOPS — As the frantic search for Ryan Shtuka up at Sun Peaks approaches the four-week mark, a Kamloops woman has stepped up to help out.
Wendy Lefebvre has organized a shuttle bus service to search for Ryan this Saturday.
It will leave the Fox’n Hounds Pub at 8:00 a.m. and return at 4:00 p.m. Snow boots are required, though Sun Peaks will be donating snowshoes and poles. Local bus company Tastefull Excursions has offered up the transportation.
“As you know, it’s been going on for over three weeks and we’d really like to get our community involved to show support for the family,” says Lefebvre. “Ironically, it is Ryan’s 21st birthday on Saturday as well and I think it would mean the world to the family to see the support the community is showing to them.”
