Semi loses load on Yellowhead Highway

KAMLOOPS — Traffic is getting through on the Yellowhead Highway after an embarrassing gaffe for a semi driver this morning.
The driver was making a turn at Mount Paul Way and Highway 5 when the load slid off the trailer and onto the road in the middle of the intersection.
The load, which appears to be an engine or large piece of equipment, remains in the intersection this hour.
Traffic is moving, but it’s probably best to avoid the area if you can.
