Police locate overdue travellers destined for Kamloops
KAMLOOPS — Update: Police say the overdue travellers from Kelowna headed for Kamloops have been located.
Earlier: Mounties in Kelowna are seeking the public’s assistance in locating two overdue travellers who were scheduled to make a visit to Kamloops.
Maureen Tallio and Johnny Philbrick were last seen around 10 a.m. Wednesday when they left their Kelowna home for Kamloops.
Police say the pair never arrived at their destination and have not been in contact with their family which they say is out of character.
RCMP detachments in the region are on the lookout for the vehicle they were driving in, a black 2012 Ford Escape with British Columbia licence plates FD381P.
Tallio is described as:
- Aboriginal female;
- 55 years;
- 5 ft 4 in (163 cm);
- 104 lbs (47 kg);
- brown hair;
- brown eyes;
Philbrick is described as:
- White male;
- 58 years;
- 5 ft 9 in (175 cm);
- 181 lbs (82 kg);
- brown hair;
- brown eyes;
Anyone with information about the pair or their black Ford Escape is urged to contact police.
