KAMLOOPS — Multiple flights departing and arriving at the Kamloops Airport have been cancelled due to heavy snowfall.
“With the snow falling as it has been, once it gets heavy, then it starts to affect visibility,” Airport Manager Heather McCarley said. “So, the airlines this morning have elected to cancel some flights for safety, and we have our snow team out clearing the runways and taxi-ways, keeping them safe.”
McCarley says while the snow continues to fall passengers should check with their airline before heading to the airport.
