Henrich, Boyd-Clowes named to Canada’s Olympic ski jumping team
CALGARY — Taylor Henrich and Mackenzie Boyd-Clowes were named to Canada’s Olympic ski jumping team on Wednesday.
Henrich, 22, will be competing in her second Olympic Games after a 13th place finish in Sochi in 2014, when women’s ski jumping made its Olympic debut.
Henrich became the first Canadian woman to win a World Cup ski jumping medal, finished third in Oberstdorf, Germany in 2015.
“I am so proud to once again have the opportunity to represent Canada at the Olympic Games,” Henrich said. “This is the culmination of all the hard work done in training, but every jump is worth it for the opportunity to wear the maple leaf in Korea.”
