‘Still a lot of work to do’: Hundreds march for equality in Kamloops
KAMLOOPS — Hundreds of Kamloops residents joined the thousands of women across Canada who marched for female empowerment and equality Saturday morning.
The event marked the anniversary of last year’s Women’s March on Washington, which coincided with the inauguration of President Donald Trump.
While Kamloops had a smaller attendance in its second year, organizer Carlin Bolt was pleased with the turnout.
