Kamloops’ 12th Annual ABC Family Literacy Day kicks off Saturday morning
KAMLOOPS — Literacy in the 21st century is more important than ever, and with the prevalence of technology, and the wide array of information available online, the ability to sift through it all has become a crucial skill for all segments of the population.
Saturday at the Henry Grube Centre, the Kamloops Early Language and Literacy Initiative will host the 12th annual ABC Family Literacy Day, an event meant to help families enrich the lives of children through those foundational literacy skills, which will ultimately give them the skills to succeed in 21st-century life.
It’s a fun way to teach a very important set of skills. Saturday morning marks the 12th annual ABC Family Literacy Day, held at the Henry Grube Education Centre.
