KAMLOOPS — A pedestrian received minor injuries after being hit by a vehicle making a turn at 6th and Victoria downtown last night.

RCMP Sergeant Brandon Buliziuk says the incident happened about 7:00 PM.

An 18-year old female was crossing Victoria Street in the crosswalk when she was hit by the vehicle, which was negotiating a turn.

Police say the woman was taken to hospital to be checked over, but appeared to receive only minor injuries.
