He adds downtown business owners have noted an increase in homelessness issues in the past few months. 

“We have been working weekly with the city to try and address these,” he said, “and we feel the city has very much listened, and worked with us. Everyone learned a lot from Stuart Wood, from the Stuart Wood announcement. It served its purpose at the time, but it was a band-aid solution, and we’re very happy with how the city is moving forward.”
