Van Osch wins B.C. Scotties over Kamloops’ Thompson

KAMLOOPS — The Kesa Van Osch rink from Nanaimo has won the B.C. Scotties provincial women’s curling championship with an 11-4 win over Karla Thompson from Kamloops.

This one got away from Team Thompson after the 6th end.

Trailing 6-4 the 2016 provincial champion from the Kamloops Curling Centre gave up steals in the 7th, 8th, and 9th ends.

Van Osch will now represent B.C. at the Canadian Scotties in Penticton.
