Fire destroys abandoned restaurant in Kamloops

KAMLOOPS — A fire has destroyed an abandoned restaurant in Kamloops.
The fire at the old Brass Kettle – located at the corner of Hugh Allan Drive and Pacific Way – was reported to Kamloops Fire Rescue at around 5:20 p.m.
Flames could be seen shooting more than twenty feet in the air as first responders battled the blaze.
The restaurant has sat vacant for years and there’s no word yet on what caused it.
No other information is available at this time.
