City streets crews keep busy clearing Tuesday’s snow
KAMLOOPS — It was another busy day for street maintenance crews in Kamloops.
Tuesday’s snowstorm continued overnight, giving Kamloops residents plenty of work to do this morning as they dug out from under the snow.
City crews are working around the clock to clean up after the storm, prioritizing the main arterials.
“The arterial collector bus routes they’re all looking quite well, they’re all cleared,” said Streets and Environmental Services Manager Glen Farrow. “We’re still seeing ice build up at some of the key intersections, which we’re continuing to go back again and again. Overall they are looking quite good with snow being cleared to the edge. We have moved into local roads today, and we’ll continue working through the local roads the rest of today, through the evening, and into tomorrow.”
