Deadline nearing to get Christmas parcels delivered on time
KAMLOOPS — Like every major shipping company around the holidays, the UPS Store in Columbia Square is trying to keep up with the demand.
“The last week has been five times busy,” said owner of the Kamloops UPS Store Ramandeep Baidwan. “We were doing 100, 120 packages a week. Sometime we have done 40 packages per day. It’s been crazy. We’ve just had to put in time in the evenings to just get that thing done.”
Baidwan said Christmas time is usually when volume is up in the store, and packages are being sent everywhere around the world.
