Time a ticking to ensure Christmas cards and presents arrive on time
KAMLOOPS — Ready or not Christmas is just over two weeks away and the rush is on to get the Christmas cards and parcels in the mail to ensure they arrive in time for the big day.
No matter how many Christmases pass, many of us still wait until the last minute to get to the post office.
Canada post added Sunday deliveries a few weeks ago to help with demand and carriers are working longer shifts to stay on top of the rush, but it isn’t just the usual ‘Christmas rush’ that’s contributing to Canada Post being so busy.
With so many Canadians now shopping online, it’s leading to a big jump in delivery demand.
