Kamloops enjoys above seasonal temperatures
KAMLOOPS — The sub-zero burst of chilly, snowy weather that arrived in Kamloops earlier this month is nothing but a distant memory.
“We’re sitting at around 11 degrees right now,” says Environment Canada meteorologist Alyssa Charbonneau. “That was our forecasted high for today. Tomorrow we’re forecasting a high of plus 10. Normal for this time of year is around a high of plus five so quite a bit warmer than normal. And after tomorrow, we’ll see temperatures drop back down, so, short lived.”
Low enough for snow on Thursday?
“It’s a 30 per cent chance of flurries. So, we’re not expecting a huge amount. We do have some moisture coming Wednesday which is expected to fall mostly as rain as temperatures are still above freezing.”
