Massive search for missing Prince George woman proves fruitless
ASHCROFT, B.C. Local searchers are taking a break from their exhaustive search for a missing Prince George woman near Ashcroft.
61 year old Jenny Lynn Larocque was reported missing October 3, and her vehicle and pet dog were found near Ashcroft about a week ago.
Kamloops Search and Rescue Volunteer Search Manager Alan Hobler says dozens of searchers conducted a co-ordinated effort on the weekend.
“We had a very big push over the weekend,” said Hobler. “There were 50 searchers out over the weekend, from teams all across the province. We hit the area very hard but, as of yet, haven’t found any other new signs of her.”
