Trash load ignites in downtown Kamloops

KAMLOOPS — Kamloops Fire Rescue crews are working to extinguish a fire in a large pile of garbage downtown this morning.
According to reports, the fire started while the load of trash was inside a garbage truck.
The driver then dumped in the parking lot adjacent to Value Village, in the 400-block of Seymour Street.
Motorists are advised to stay away from the scene to allow firefighters to work.
