Kamloops — Kamloops-SouthThompson Liberal MLA Todd Stone has responded to claims by the NDP government his party mismanaged ICBC while it was in power.

Yesterday, Attorney General David Eby blamed the public auto insurer’s financial woes on former premier Christy Clark’s government.

“There’s no truth to that claim at all,” said Stone. “The NDP is just playing politics with the issue.”

Eby isn’t buying that response though. He said his government uncovered documents showing the BC Liberals were planning on selling ICBC’s headquarters in North Vancouver to help offset the millions in losses it has sustained.
