New students find their bearings at TRU orientation
KAMLOOPS — University students head back to school this week in Kamloops.
While the first day of classes at Thompson Rivers University is Wednesday, Tuesday saw hundreds of new students gather at for orientation.
“It’s like New Years around here. It’s fantastic,” said Dean of Students Christine Adam.
Staff, faculty, and student volunteers were working to make a good first impression as the new batch of students arrived.
