Deadman-Vidette Road residents return home

KAMLOOPS — The Thompson-Nicola Regional District has partially lifted an evacuation order on the southeast flank of the massive Elephant Hill wildfire.
The residents able to return home as of 12:00 noon today live along Deadman-Vidette Road, with property numbers from 3653 to 7135.
Two properties Deadman-Cache Creek Road are also affected by today’s decision.
The evacuation order was first put in place on August 4.
