Angelo Fontana is the owner-operator of the North Shore Dairy Queen on Eighth Street, one of three locations in Kamloops.

Fontana says the community always supports the event.
“Last year, between the three stores in the city, we raised $35,000,” said Fontana.
“It’s a crazy busy day but it’s a fun day, and Kamloops always comes out and supports all charitable causes.”
Fontana adds this year’s goal is to top last year’s $35,000 total for the three Kamloops locations.
