Enderby collision kills pedestrian

VERNON, B.C. β€” RCMP continue to investigate a vehicle-pedestrian collision in Enderby that killed a 37 year old Vernon man.

Police say the man was hit while walking on Highway 97A near Stepney Road around 10:30 Tuesday night.

β€œThe preliminary investigation and scene examination has established that a 37 year old Vernon male was struck by a northbound Alberta registered red Ford F350 pick-up truck while he was in the travelled portion of the northbound lane of Hwy 97A,” says Cpl. Dan Moskaluk.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
