Venom open B.C. Junior Lacrosse Championships today

KAMLOOPS — The Kamloops Venom will play the Coquitlam Adanacs this afternoon in Vernon in the first game of the four team B.C. Junior “B” Lacrosse Championship.

The Venom went 13-and-3 this season and 6-and-2 in the playoffs.

Coquitlam, the West Coast Junior League champs, was 15-and-1 in the regular season and 6-and-1 in the playoffs.

The other teams in the provincial championship are the Westshore Bears from the Pacific Northwest League and the host Vernon Tigers.
